Hi all,
I am completing the I-485 form and I have some doubts about VERY simple things. I don't want to mess up with this, that is why I prefer to ask you every single thing, no matter I look like a fool.
First my situation: I live in the US since more than 6 years ago. I have a H1B visa since last year. I married an american citizen last June and decided to make our life easier by applying to the green card.
1) Do I have to present my H1B Approval Notice (I-797A)?
2) In Part 1, line 7 of i485 form it says: Date of last arrival. Here I have a discrepancy with my passport and I-94 form. I travel frequently to Canada for the day, and they rarely stamp my passport at the border. I mean, the last time that I entered the country WAS NOT the date stated in my I-94. Still, I assume that they still have records of every person who enters the country.
Question is: Should I put in the form the REAL last date that I entered US? or should I put what it say my I-94 form?
3) I don't have records of any A#. Is that something hidden in my visa? what is that? should I just write N/A for non applicable?
Thank you guys. I know most of this is silly, but I don't want to make any mistakes and loose more than a thousand dollars.
