Thought it may be helpful to put my timeline down. I originally moved to the US on an L1-A visa and filed for a green card earlier this year:
10th March: Filed the following applications: I-140, I-485, I-765, I-131 (note: I had arranged the medical prior to filing)
17th March: I-140 approved (I paid for premium processing)
21st March: I-485 transferred to NBC (IIRC)
24th March: Biometrics taken (I received a biometrics date of 6 April, but I was going to be out of country so just walked into the closest ASC)
9th May: I-765 approved
13th May: I-485 approved
64 days from filing to approval. Now just waiting for the cards and interestingly the I-131 remains outstanding.
