Please help me .
me and my wife attended AOS interview on oct18,the interview went well for 15 minutes,all yes/no questions,During the interview the officer asked us to sign a paper showing we will be granted temporary green card for 2yrs and we will have to remove the conditions on green card before 3 months from the date of expiry.we took our attorney with us.
After the interview our attorney also told us,the interview really went good.
The interview officer told us,we will get reply in mail.The officer did not take my EAD or I-94 etc.after 2 weeks we received a mail asking us to submit a
birth certificate affidavit from my dad.we submitted.its been 4 weeks but no response.Now my question is,,what is the reason for delay?how long it will take to get green card.Do anyone have similiar experience?I need to visit my home country on personal reasons,,please suggest me what to do?
