  • I-485 Interview Preparation - Documents

    Hi!

I've just gotten the notice for my I-485 interview and I'm a bit confused on one of the items that they request you to bring:

"Any immigration-related documentation ever issued to you, including any Employment Authorization Document (EAD) and any Authorization for Advance Parole (I-512)"

What sort of documentation do they mean exactly? (I don't have any EAD or I-512)

    Thanks!

I got the same request and took all of the correspondance I received from them such as the letters. I had filed for but has yet to receive my EAD. Be sure to take your passport and I-94 if you have it. The list of things they requested was about a full page long. Some of the items it had and some I did not. Be sure to take what you have. My interview went well. They asked only a few questions and it was over in about five minutes.

From what I have seen that seems to be a standard letter just take all that you have and you will be ok.
