  • Advance parole forget to file with I-485

I forgot to filed Advance parole with AOS package. Now, I realized that I need to file Advance Parole, if I want to travel my home country. How I can file, Where And I need to pay fees for It? I need to go for again finger print ?.

With Advance Parole, I don't need valid visa on my passport?

Did you ever have a visa like a K1? If you're on overstay from something like a visa waiver entry, it's best not to leave until you have a greencard. Advance Parole does not guarantee re-entry. CBP can deny your entry because of any overstays or illegal entry, even with AP. A K1 will be fine with Advance Parole for travel.

You can still file it free, but you must send with it a copy of your receipt for filing AOS. It is still considered filed with aOS and the receipt shows that so they don't ask for a filing fee.

If your F1 visa is still valid then you can get back in the country with it. No need for Advance Parole.

Advance Parole is often discussed by K1 fiances because that visa is a single use entry. Use the K1 visa to enter the US and it is voided that day. There is nothing to allow you back in if you leave the US except the Advance Parole document. The same would be true for other visa holders if their visa was going to expire before they got the greencard. Those with still valid visas can continue to use them for re-entry.

          Wrong.. need AP

You are wrong Nichole, even with a F-1 valid visa he needs an AP to travel outside the country or the application is considered abandoned.

P30patel bhai you absolutley need an AP to travel. Dont even move anywhere without it
