I hired a preparer to help me fill the forms, she never asked me about past arrest or convictions or anything related.. and she put I was never arrested in i485 forms / never had any crimes.
I know I should review the forms before sending, and I did, but somehow I completely missed this part or overlooked, I don’t even know how it happened and I’m hating myself for that.
Now I got an RFE saying I had an arrrest for DUI in 2019 and asking me to send paperwork.
I finished every requirement except for 5 years “unsupervised” probation which just means I can’t have any crimes in these 5 years, so far so good.
I am confused which paperwork to send as, these RFEs wording can be really confusing for non-native English speakers (and even for natives lol).
All I have is certified disposition certificate and certified criminal history. Do I need something else? Where can I get it?
My disposition doesn't say it was finished yet, I guess because still on probation.
I am also worried what should I say about saying NO on the forms? Should I write a letter explaining? Any ideas?
