Hi everyone,
I filed 140, 131, 765 and 485 altogether on September, 2nd 2022 and my 140 got approved on January 18th 2023. On July 3rd 2023 my 485 status changed to the following:
"July 3, 2023 Case Remains Pending
We are temporarily pausing work on your application because an immigrant visa number is not immediately available to you. Once an immigrant visa number becomes immediately available to you, we will resume processing of your application."
Since then I have been following the changes in the final action dates that USCIS announces in their monthly bulletin. I was hoping to see a big leap forward going from Fiscal year 2023 to 2024 however the final action date for EB2 moved forward by one week only and is now July 8th, 2023.
I would like to ask you whether it's possible to come up with an estimation about when my priority date of September 2nd 2022 would enter the final action data radar of USCIS? Is it totally unpredictable or is it possible to say something based on the latest announcements on the number of green cards made available for the new fiscal year, the amount of backlog and so on? I am from Turkey by the way and it is considered ROW as far as I can see.
