  • got approved but??? my timeline

here is my timeline for anyone who want info:
14-Sep email notice and text message that USCI received and routed to NBC
    15-Sep checks cashed
    17-Sep mail 797c received
    24-Sep mail for bimetric appointment
    15-Oct biometric appointment
4-Nov Received Notification via email - ordered production of EA Card
9-Nov Received from standard mail - Request for Applicant to Appear for Initial Interview for Dec 14
    14-Dec green card interview, approved

here is my question, i read from everyone else, after their greencard interview, they will receive the online notice that their application has been approved and the greencard is in order for production. i had my interview on Dec 14, and so far i see no status update online. also people said they were asked to sign some form during the interview when their conditional greencard was approved. My officer told me he approved our case but my husband and I were never asked to sign anything, the online status showed nothing. I called the immigration, all they said is to book an appointment with local office. what's the deal? pls share ur experience... btw, Im married to a US citizen, if anyone needs help and info, let me know, i feel im becoming expats in preparation this thing now....

don't worry, their online system quite slow. I had interview Dec 8, only yesterday online status changed to Post-decision activity. We were not asked sign any forms during interview.

I filed all the forms to the Chicago lockbox and they redirected to National Benefit Center and i did not hire a lawyer. Before i submitted my documents, i did quite a bit of a research and understand the more supporting documents, the better and faster for the whole process to get done and it is not necessary to hire a lawyer at all. Basically every single data we put in the G325, 485 and 130, we provided supporting documents, e.g. addresses we lived in the past few years, we would provide any bank statements or utilities bills that showed those addresses. They didnt ask for education proof, i also provided my master and bachelor degree certs etc. My previous employers letter of employerment, business cards etc. To validate my identity, i also provided my passport, every visa i got from the US government in the past, my international drivers permit, my local driver license, my local identity card, none of these were asked by the immigration but i provided anyway so they can see every data i filled in were backed up by supporting documents, hope this helps
