How recent should the affidavit of birth should be? I am trying to file I130 and Adjustment of Status for my parents and the Affidavit of Birth document which they have signed from a relative is already 2 years old. Can I use it as they do not have their birth certificate. Or do I have to get a more recent birth affidavit signed my a relative.
