RFE to provide Birth Certificate and Supplement J ?
Hello,
I applied for an EB1 Green Card, and since my priority date was current, both the I-140 and I-485 were filed concurrently last year. Last week, I received a Request for Evidence (RFE) asking for a clear birth certificate, despite supporting affidavits having been provided. Additionally, the RFE requested the submission of Supplement J, which was not provided earlier by my attorney due to the concurrent filing.
Is there a possible reason for receiving an RFE for a birth certificate despite supporting affidavits being provided? Also, any ideas why they might request Supplement J now?
