  • Birth Certificate for Interview

Hi everyone, yesterday I received an interview letter from USCIS, is scheduled on January 26th, but I have one question to you guys. I am married to a US Citizen, and she lost her birth certificate while ago, but she kept a copy of it, and thats exactly what we sent to USCIS. I just wonder whether they stricktly asking for an original one or not? I mean is it gonna be ok if we just gonna bring this copy?

    Thanks in advance

You need to get an original as soon as you can before interview. You will need one in the future as well so always handy to have one. Then you can make copies as you need them
