    Hello.,

If you have the originals of the Birthcertificates and translation that will be good for your interview, good luck on that

You can ask anyone to translate the birth certificate provided they are fluent in english and the other language. The document does NOT need to be notarized.
      Good Luck

If you have the international (translated version) bring that but also bring the original in the native language too.

For anyone who doesn't have any sort of translation--

USCIS asks for a "certified" translation. That has a different meaning from "notarized". Any person who is fluent in both languages can "certify" (meaning attest to or vouch for in writing) that they are fluent in the languages and that the document is accurate.

Uscis gives a sample format for certifying on their website.

The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. A suggested format is:

          Certification by Translator

I [typed name], certify that I am fluent (conversant) in the English and ________ languages, and that the above/attached document is an accurate translation of the document attached entitled ______________________________.

          Signature_________________________________

          Date -------------------------Typed Name
          -------------------------------Address
