I attended my interview today and after the proceedings, the officer gave me a Letter stating that I will be recommended for approval and that the process will take some time. Has anyone been in this situation and what does it mean.

It means you'll get your GC by mail in 2-4 weeks.
I got mine in about 12 days

Why I am worried is that the note he gave me reads that it does not represent a final approval. Was that the kind of note you received?

What does it mean "not final approval"?
During my interview officer said that she is going to approve my case and I should wait for GC within a months.
After that within one week I got I-797 (Welcome letter) stating my case was approved and then about a week later green card.
