Hi All,
My Green Card application was filed on July 30th 2003 Priority Date (used a Substituition Labor) under employment based category 2 (EB2) and I have been waiting for its approval since July 23 2007.
My priority date for green card processing July 30th 2003 is current and eligible for approval since Feb 2008 but I haven’t seen any update on my case status.
I called USCIS customer service a couple of time and opened service requests but they keep on saying that my priority date is later than the current date.
I got back replies both times that the priority date of my application is not eligible for approval, which is in direct contrast to the visa bulletin released by department of state in October 2010 (http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulleti...etin_5145.html). I am also eligible for approval during the upcoming month of December 2010 (http://travel.state.gov/visa/bulleti...etin_5172.html).
During my call to USCIS, they have forwarded me to travel state department (202 663 1541) who thought that my case type (EB2) might have incorrectly represented with National Visa center and asked to call National Visa center ( 603 334 0700 )..
When I call the National Visa center they say they can't see a record of my I140 . I am confused where the mistake might have happened.
Did this happen to anyone. Or Do anyone know how I should proceed in my case.
