  • Request for Initial Evidence

I am applying for Adjustment of Status and Employment Authorization Document all together.

I got a request for initial evidence letter from USCIS saying that they need an English translation of my birth certificate that I submitted. That's the only thing that was listed. I'm wondering if they send all the additional evidence at once..like is this all that they'll need or I should expect another letter for initial evidence further on in the process?

    Thank you.

If they need something else, they would write to you on same letter. I had similar situation, while my present husband apply I129F for me. he didn t send his photos, and they asked for that, and also they asked for airline tickets like a proof that hi been in my country.
    Don t worry.

The letter will only request exactly what they are wanting so don't worry. If they wanted more they would have asked for it as said before.
