GC card issues

Hi
I got my GC approved dec21/04 and card sent on jan 25/05. My wife recd the card within a week and my card was not. after waiting for a long time and talked to NSC many times , finally an officer told me that the card was ordered and recd - does not meet our security requirements , so it was destroyed and we will be sending a new card...
Does this happen all the time ..or to any one ..pl reply ( that will give me some peace...)

It may happen some times.
