Can I travel on Advance Parole

Hi,

I have my I-140 approved and have applied for I-485. My fingerprinting is done.

I have not yet added my wife to my I-485 [my priority date is not current].
I am still on my H1 and wife on H-4.

I am planning to visit my parents in India.

Since there are many cases of visa rejection or issues at the port of entry,
I thought why not apply for AP and travel to India.
Get my wife's H-4 stamped and
I return on AP and my wife on H-4
And I continue to use my H1 for working

Is this do-able???

Advance Parole is for someone on AOS pending status, not H1B. (I am AOS pending and traveling with AP recently)

If your H1B does not expire within 90 days of your returning date, I don't see why you can't travel with H1B.
