Hello all, I need your help again: My wife is completing the affidavit of support for my I-485 application.
She is american but came to the US one year ago and she have done only 1 tax return in her entire life (this year, and we did joint presentation).
Point 25 of I-864 says specifically:
"I have filed federal tax return for reach of the three most recent tax years. I have attached the required photocopy or transcript of my federal ta return for only the most recent year"
What should I do? I can not mark that statement because the first part (3 years) is not real, even when the last (attached last year's) is correct.
I call IRS and they can only give a declaration that years before there are not tax returns from her.
