  • AOS Interview at National Benefits Center

    Hi everyone!

I just got an e-mail message regarding my case status updates, saying that they mailed me an appointment notice for an interview at National Benefits Center. I know in the letter I'll have a more detailed explanation but I was just wondering, where is the National Benefits Center? Are there offices in most cities or will we have to travel to a different state for it?

Our interview (based on marriage, K-1 visa) is scheduled for April 6 and I'm also worried if we have enough evidence material. We just moved out of my husband's parents' house so we have a lease now (the utility bills are in the landlord's name though - bummer), we've got holiday cards sent to both of us from my family back in my home country, a few pictures and a couple bills in both our names. My husband is going to add me to his bank account, and we also filed for tax return jointly... What else should we try to get ready?

    Thank you all

There is only one National Benefits Center. You will interview at the closest USCIS office to your home. They don't expect K1s to have masses of joint things because you haven't been married that long. Take your marriage certificate and the other things you mentioned.
