EAD card should arrive in 30 days, should I look for a job now?

They e-mailed me an update on my EAD card, saying it has been approved and sent to production and should arrive in the mail in 30 days. Does it usually take more than that or are they accurate?

And is it OK for me to apply for jobs now, while I still don't have the actual card?

(I'm a K-1, AOS in process; I have a SSN with the card saying "allowed for work only with DHS authorization").

You will and should get your EAD card within weeks after Bio and now that you have been told in production you will receive it soon. You can apply for a job but you can't be accepted without the EAD. SO if you went for a job and they said yes you would have to tell them that your EAD is coming and hope they will hold the position open for you.
