Applying EAD and I 485 without priority date current.

Hi,

My Husband's GC is under process and 2 stages were cleared i.e I 140 is cleared. So, can we apply for I-485 and EAD now itself or do I need to wait till my Priority date is current. I appreciate your help regarding this.
