My husband and I (married on the 22nd) are in the process of filling out his I-130 and 485 and various other forms.
My question is, since we've only been married a week, we don't have any of the items listed on the I-130 instructions to prove the bona fides of the marriage, outside of the marriage certificate. I've been told it's not necessary to include any of those documents (joint bills, lease, bank account) until the interview, which would be great, since we'd like to send the forms in as soon as possible. Can anyone confirm this information?
Thanks!
