I-485/I-130 difference in name spelling

I am filing I-130/I-485 for my father. His first name is spelled slight differently in his passport vs. other documents. Should I submit any affidavit for this spelling difference or just use name as in passport and it will be ok? Thanks for any helpful advice I can receive.

Birth certificate

You don't need to worry, the name and spelling on his birth certificate is the most important. Anyway an affidavit can help but the name on BC must match or else no GC.
