  • Green Card Interview Supporting Documents? Urgent!

    Hi everyone!

I am preparing for my Green Card interview (AOS based on a K-1 visa). Going through the checklist of the items I need to bring with me to the interview, I am a little confused about a couple of things:

    1. "All documentation establishing your eligibility for Lawful Permanent Resident status." - I am completely clueless about this one, it sounds very broad and I have no idea what to take with me.

    2. "Original and copy of each supporting document that you submitted with your application. Otherwise, we may keep your originals for our records." - Supporting documents I submitted with my AOS and EAD applications, as well as the Affidavit of Support (basically everything I submitted), OR just my AOS supporting documents (since the interview is for the AOS case)? I have copies of my visa, birth & marriage certificates, the I-94, and the vaccination record - which are AOS supporting documents, but I don't have copies of the tax return papers for example - which are supporting documents for the Affidavit of Support.

    Help me please

    Standard letter

Hello don't worry just go with your wife, evidence of your relationship, lease agreement, photos( that may not even be looked at by the adjudicator), joint account, insurance(life and or car). Your I-94, Passport. Don't border about the rest, it is a standard letter( you may come with the original copies of the document that was submitted, anyway it is unlikely that they will look at them. They asked for it in the letter so that you can say that they are doing a thorough job.
