  • Divorce decree

the officer that interviewed us said that the divorce decree I brought regarding my previous marriage was lacking information and I would need a more complete one and that he was gonna send us a request for additional information where he would detail it. He was fairly rude and wouldn't explain much.
I would like to try to obtain the required document ahead of time so I can reply to that letter as soon as it arrives.
Does anyone know about different types of divorce decree?
The one I have is 2 pages long and titled FINAL DECREE citing "incompatibility" as grounds for grating an absolute divorce.
    Thank you

In my country Australia it is 2 pages as well and stamped by the court at the bottom. I have heard some say that you will need an official court stamped decree by the magistrate themselves. It has to have the official court stamp on it does yours have this? Some have said about the magistrate signature as well so you can go to the court house and ask for one signed and stamped.
