Hello! My New Zealand native hubby and I are finally getting started. He overstayed his 3 month Visa and never left. He had his medical report and physical, and now we need to begin the process. A free consult at an Immi lawyer said we need to submitt an I-130, I-485, and I-131. Then what? We have been told so many different things. We only have the fees for the paperwork and cannot afford the lawyer. We don't want to risk screwing anything up. Also, how soon after we submit the travel doc can we travel on a cruise to Mexico? We live in Cali...thank you!!
