I-485 Pending since Months

Hi,

I filed my greencard based on my wife's citizenship status on june 2010.

I already got interview on september 2010 in maryland. After interview they said to wait for 3 months. I again check on december they said "Your file is still under process." I went back on january to check my case status. They said they your file is in extended view. Wait until May.

I am checking online everyday and its shows only one thing "REQUEST OF EVIDANCE." When I go to USCIS office I ask them that what evidance you need?
They said your documents are fine we don't want any documents.

I can't understand that its almost one year since I file my GC and I still can't get any answer. My EAD is expire on august so I am about to renew my EAD if I can't get GC soon.

Can someone help me out what to do? I am totally frustrated.

It will be ok! I understand your worries, but if you are frequently checking with them, and they said that you have to wait, just wait. It is about time. Sometimes, it is hard to understand the immigration process. keep checking and good luck to you. Just pray!
One suggestion, go to the congressman in your district in your town and explain your situation; they will help you by calling immigration themselves for free and find out why they keep you waiting like this. At the congress office, they have an immigration expert to help people. I had experienced some cases where the congress office in my district was very helpful. I am not a lawyer, but I help a lot people voluntarily with immigration matters.
