hi everyone my wife just filed I-130 petion for me as i have overstayed for 2 years and she is an american citizen also we filed i 485 and all other ead and parole and everything ..she didnt make enough money to sponser me but we have a joint sponser who made a lot more money than we needed to sponser me.Now we came to know that the tax return that we filed with IRS just a day before we mailed the application to USCIS( cus we needed to attach the tax return as she is the petioner and main sponser)has been denied cus someone else has already filed taxes on our behalf(which seems an identity theft).now my concern is shall we call the immigration right away about the identity theft or put the application on hold better than to be caught lator cus they may check the tax information from irs which may lead them to deny the petition for a green card or everything......or......just let it go cus they may not check it with irs and also my joint sponser made 5 times of the money that we need to sponser me.....pls..any help will be appericiated
