    EAD considered as used

    Hi,
    My wife got her EAD in Feb. 2001 and after that got her SSN, but she is not working. I want to know that just getting SSN on behalf of EAD conisdered as using EAD? She still has a valid H4, is she in H4 status or not?
    Any information will be appreciated.
