  • I485 Form-SSN not mentioned-Is it an issue?

Hi All - Few days back, I received a copy of the documents/applications that my attorney sent to the USCIS for my case. I see that the attorney left the SSN field blank. I am now worried that the application might get treated incomplete and get rejected or due to the lack of SSN, they might not be able to carry out the required checks or they checks will take a alot longer than what it normally takes. What should/can I do to solve this issue? Kindly advise fellows.

    SSN not mandatory

Not likely, putting your SSN on the application is optional and not mandatory. It is not required for security clearance at this stage, they can find out whatever they are interested in about you without the use of SSN.
    Stay cool.
