    Hi,

We have filed our I-485 thru our lawyer and now there is a likely chance that we will have to change our residence, though within the same state. Could any one guide me as whether the finger printing notice will go to our lawyer or will be sent to us. And what steps we may have to take to make sure that the fingerprinting notice comes to our new address.

    Thanks,
    Joyous123

    Well,
The same thing happened to me. I applied for my I-485 last March with my lawyer and I moved last July. Yesterday, I received a letter from Immigration for my fingerprints. The letter was forwarded from my old address. I wouldn't worry if you moved less than a year ago. Regardless, go ahead a fill a "Change of Address" form at the center where you submitted your I-485
