I485, not yet 180 days pending, company goes down.

Hi,

My I-485 "receipt date" is Jan 24 2001. My employer (H1B / Greencard sponsor) is experiencing financial difficulties, such that they may not survive until I reach the "180 days pending" date of July 23 2001.

What happens to my greencard process if they go down before July 23, and what remedies do I have to try and save my GC?
