Hi,
I have applied 485 already for my employement based AOS back in 2007. I will be current starting June. I recently got married in April of this year and will be filing AOS for my husband. My husband is an Indian citizen working in Canada. He is working with his employer to get a transfer to US but in the meantime we are doing long distance. He has an H4 visa based on my H1 visa.
Since we are not living together we do not have our names on each others lease agreements. And since our marriage is less than 2 years old, what kind of proof do you think is acceptable by USCIS if we are called for an interview? So far, we have the following:
Joint bank account
Marriage certificate
Wedding photos
Proof of travel to and fro between Canada-US
Beneficiaries on each others retirement, insurance plans
Phone and email records (not sure if this is accepted)
Any feedback from past experiences will be immensely helpful.
Thanks,
