Greetings on here.
I have been here a couple of times.
However, something bugs me. I filled in my forms in January and everything went on well. I got my bio done, got my EAD card and got an interview date for April 18th 2011. I went with my wife to the benefit center in cleveland for the interview along with my lawyer.
There was a few things the IO raised. One was how soon we married, she also said she needed a government birth record other than my birth cert and that i should get a new W2 and tax return from my sponsor. After all, my lawyer asked if she had any problems with the credibilty of our marriage and she said no.It was a good interview because we answered well and we werent seperated.
We got a letter fron the immigration office to submit a government attested birth cert for me, get a letter from my landlord stating i live with my wife and get a new W2 form and also get a confirmation form my insurance company that i am in good standing with them and she gave us a priority date of 25th of may.
However we were able to get everything and i sent them in on the 12th of may.I have not heard from them since then and i am so worried. My lawyer however mailed there office and after like 5 days, they mailed back telling that they are running security checks and it sometimes takes years depending on the nature.
I am not scared cos i do not have any sskeletons but i am so bothered. Please is there someone who has gone thru something of sort before or has an advise to give to me?
