What is the deal with this? It says you can apply for work authorization if you have a V Visa, but they require you to file for the Visa itself overseas.
What if you are already here in the U.S., and you just want the Visa in order to file for the work authorization while waiting for your priority date to become current?
Can one do that or is the rule just saying that a V Visa holder can apply for work authorization once the priority date becomes current for the Green Card?
