Please I need someone to tell me (I-458 interview)

Greetings Immihelp.
I have posted a few questions on here and this forum has been so helpful.
For those that has not followed up my case, I went for an adjustment change interview on the 18th of April and during the interview, the OI asked for a few more things from us. She asked that myself and my wife got a letter from our Landlord since we did not have a lease, she also requested that i submit a government issued birth cert form my country of birth. She told me to get the latest W2 from my sponsor and get my life insurance company write a letter stating my present standing with them. She gave us a priority date of 25th of may to send it in or our petition will be voided.
Apart from this things, our interview was cool as we were interviewed together and my lawyer asked if she had any problems with our marriage after the interview cos we married soon enought and she said she was fine wit it.
We have sent in all requested documents from the 12th of may. My lawyer told me we should get an approval result in 2weeks.2weeks after, she mailed them and she got am email that a decision has not been made cos further background checks were conducted. They further stated that it normally takes a month but migth take years in some cases.
I have not hear from the till date.
I am worried.Please is there anyone who has been in a kind of situation like this/ can anyone tell me what to think? what the time frame is and the probabilities?

I am in a similar situation. I got a reply after waiting 120 days after interview that there are still working on the case. They letter said it would take another additional 6 months. So just be patient.

Unfortunately there is nothing else that you can do but to wait. A friend of mine, went for the first interview last December and in the middle of may got a RFE and sent everything requested and now is just matter of more waiting. There is nothing at this point for you to worry. If you have done as requested just hang in there and don’t think about it. There is no any indication for good or bad… The only thing after 6 months if there is no answer from them or any communication, you could formally request an status on your case and your lawyer can advise on this.

Greetings Immihelp.
I am writing this because i am so very nervous.
Please if anyone has followed my thread, i need help and words.
After my interview in April and several getting back to immigrations, i have not received any positive answers.
However waking up this morning, i got a knock on my door and it was immigration officers ant the door.I was scared to death as they came in, asked for my wife, asked a few questions of how we meet, why we married so early and if i agreed to pay her and told me to excuse them that they needed to speak to my wife alone. They were with her for like 45 mins trying to convince her and telling her that people have hidden motives and that is she aware of the fact that i might just need my papers? They told her that does she know that as soon as i get my green card, i might decide to leave her and she said she does not know if i would leave or not but for now she is getting along well with the marriage even though we have issues with difference of language.
She was asked several thnigs cos i was earsdropping it from upstairs even though i could not hear all.She was even asked why i consulted a lawyer for our case and she told them i did.They asked about the kids and the family in general and if she knew any of my relation and she said she just says hi on the fone.
After her session, i was called and asked why i would marry someone 8 years older than i am and i told them 2 reason.love and happiness.I will stay where i get happiness from. I was aksed where we met? how many kids, there school and where they were at present and after about 10mins with me, was told they were done and that i will hear from them in the future.He said within a month.
I am very nervous. So very nervous and i am disturbed.
As anyone being in this before? does anyone knows the or has this experience? please share it with me cos i do not know maybe i should just start jumping for joy and start thanking God or what?
Please i need someone with experience to share what they think.
