I and my wife attended the Aos interview at the Atl Ga office yesterday at 8.15am, the IO seperated us and asked series of questions from us in which we got most of it correctly, she collected my I-94 and our bank statement of account with the utility bill, she didn't take my EAD card nor stamp my passport. She asked us to go,she even see us off and said we would hear from them later. Could anyone advice me cos am totally confused and worried.

you are more than likely approved. my passport was not stamped either, neither was my EAD card taken, my I-94 was not taken .. i received my GC in mail about 10 days after the interview. I would contact USCIS if I didn't hear anything within 2-3 weeks. relax!

Hi, they just ask questions like where you met your wife, when you met, about your day to day activities, your bills, and so on. Just want to know that your marriage is bonafide. Good luck.Comment

Another thing that is confusing is that the IO did not even talk about the 2 year conditional residency nor gave us any paper to sign after the interview, according to people in our situation said they do sign papers. Please, if anyone could enlightened us more about this situation, thanks..Comment

G.C. in the mail...
I received welcome letter in the mail on friday 5th of august,2011 and on saturday, the 6th, of august 2011, I received my G.C. in the mail.

How was the interview itself? I have mine next week, bit nervous.
Did they keep any other documents? Pictures?

Aos interview
hi everyone. i had my Aos interview today . The IO seperated me and my wife asked us similar question and we did ok according to our lawyer. He interviewed me first and later called my wife . Then he called me in took our bills, bank statement and even wedding pictures.then gave us a paper stating that USCIS Form I-485 is being held for review and that no additional information is necessary from you at this time, then he gave me an envelope if i need to post my EAD back to them. Then he see off to the door.
