My question is should I change my last name first before I file AOS? or vice versa. and if ever I will used my married name, Is there have a problem with my papers? Because in my Fiance visa processed, I used my maiden name. Thanks! Have a nice day!

When you file AOS you use your new married name on everything. You came here on K1 using maiden name now you are married and if you wish to take your husbands name then you use that on all forms.

Thanks for the reply. You mean to say I can file my AOS using my married name. Right? When can I change my last name? Thank you.

You don't have to change your name you are married now and use your husbands name.

But my passport, birth certificate and other documents. They are all written with my maiden name. You think there's no problem with that? Anyway, thanks!

Yes my passport was in my other name too and so is my birth certificate with the name I was born with. It does not change anything you weren't born with a married name were you? You can change your passport name later on but all your new documents are signed in your married name.
