AOS dates / AP renewal question
hi folks,
according to the latest published cut-off for Priority Dates, in August 2011, USCIS will be processing applications upto 01-JUNE-2002 in India EB3 category. my PD is 03-JUNE-2002 and i am guessing my date may become current in September or October 2011.
my AP is expiring in the first week of November 2011. it is about time for me to apply for a renewal. i am in a dilemma about this situation. should i anyway apply for AP renewal when there is a chance that my PD may become current before my AP is renewed? i may have to travel out of US in November / December 2011 time-frame. is there a possibility that my AOS may be processed before that, given the status of Priority Dates at this stage?
