Birth Certificate..help

Hi all,

I got a query on my son's birth certificate. Originally I submitted an affidavit. USCIS asked for non avilability of DOB from muncipal authority and affidavits from mother. When I contacted MRO (Mandal revenue office) they said they have my son's birth date registered and they will give us whatever the format I needed. Is they any standard format that USCIS expects?
