Note: COPIES: not original of the following documents:

1. Your Asylum letter and new I-94 ,
2. Proof of one (1) year residence ( physically) in USA ( a letter from your employer if any is the best, if you had never worked submit school, rent, lease or mortgage, hospital documents in your name, witness statements from church or mosque or any religious affiliation that you attend or anyone else ( friends, families...)
3. Any documents ( if you had took trips out of the country since your asylum
( Asylee or Refugee Travel Document)
4. Current and previous Employment Authorization Card (EAD)
5. Two photo passport
6. Fill out the form I-485 and the application fees ( $1070)
Make sure to check the current application fees and the address on USCIS website before sending your application. Good luck and I believe that all you need; don't need any lawyer for that!
