  • Please, help to chose the right application type!

Hello, I would like to file I-485 with I 130, I 131 and I 765 together marriage related, but I am not sure which types of application should I check.
On my form I 485 part 2 should I choose "A" even if I apply together with my I 130 and don't have a receipt # or approval?
On my form I 131 part 2 should I choose "A" or "D"? I am not a permanent resident yet but I am in US on H1B already.
Thank you very much for all your help in advance.

    ox in I-485

    Hi! hammond,

You can check letter A in I-485, if you are married to U.S citizen, because there is always visa available for spouse or minor children of U.S citizen as long as you filed it with I-130, this was the answer I got from the forum.

I sent my packet through UPS and when I tried to view my tracking no. in ther website it says that already shipped and received in reception area. I will share my experience and development of my application.

Good luck to all of us

Thank you. Hope everything goes well with your application.
But I am still confused about form I-131, did you file that form?
Does anybody know what do I have to chose in part 2? I guess D because I am not a permanent resident but I am not sure because it seems that D is only for out of US applicants

        I-131

        Hi! hammond,

i did not file for I-131 as I don't have any plans of going out of U.S. for the next 2 years.

Before I submitted my application I joined a lot of forum, so most of the answers I got from the contributors.

Pls. go to google search and type your questions there, there are lots of website there (this is where I got this immihelp).

Immihelp helped me a lot too.

Hi! Just read the application, most probably it is letter D, but I read in one of the forum that you can file I-131 as long as your non-immigrant visa is not expired.

My non-immigrant visa is still valid, but just to be safe, I'm not thinking of going out of the U.S
