fingerprint issue

Hi,

I have filed for Family based green card and as per USCIS, i will be getting fingerprint appointment notice with in 30 days of filing. On various forums I have seen people have faced issue during fingerprinting like, it's not taken properly and called twice or thrice, they ask for police clearance, etc.

My question is, what things i should take care from my side so that i do not face this issue. I appreciate if someone can share their experience and suggestions.

Was the case filed recently on your behalf or your priority date is current? Don't waste your time worrying about finger printing issues. When the time comes you will get it done.

my fingerprints were processed within 2-3 weeks and i took them only once. you will know when the time comes. just make sure you don't get a tattoo or terrible cuts, bruises on your fingers (those hamper the fingerprints due to overlapping). take good care of your fingers until then and you will be fine!
