Did you get any response from USCIS after your calls? Usually they send written response. If not, call them and ask to send service request, they should answer back within 30 days (you can send service request if your case is beyond normal processing time otherwise they just suggest to wait).
Other option might be to visit local USCIS office and try find some info there. Take all supporting documents in this case.
Also you can try hire a lawyer and send Congressional inquiry.

Thank you Billvor, infact yes our case is beyond the normal processing time,(by about 3-4 months) and nothing received from USCIS, i already have a lawyer and asked him several times to be answered that we have to wait for the proposed security check which may take up to a year as he claimes, which i doubt it , i'll ask him for the message from USCIS & the congressional issue as you advised, where i can find local USCIS office?? i'm living in NJ , union county , but the service center manipulating our case is Texas service center.. and can i override the lawyer in visiting it and asking them about my case?

As I understand you can do any requests regarding your case as long as you are petitioner or applicant. You can find local USCIS office in their web site under Contact Us link. Look for local field office. Regarding Congressional inquiry - usually immigration lawyers know how to do this. They just send inquiry to congressman from your district asking to request info from USCIS. I have heard many cases when it helped to unblock immigration cases.
