Hi I need that somebody advice me and what I can do... I got married in march so I just been married for loke 5 months now I apply for the adjustment of status right away after we got married, I just got my Employment Autorization card and Im waiting for the advance parole and see if they approve me for the green card. My concern is I love my husband but he is been treating me really bad no to the point of hiting me but he is really hurting my feelings saying alot of mean stuff to me and kicking me out of the house I just cant take it anymore Im so sad and is distroying me inside but I cant come back to my country I quit everything there to come over here, my family even help us with the money to start a business here because he lost everything with the past resesion so everything that I have is here... I want to get divorse but I dont want to be denied by uscis for getting divorse... I need your help... what I can do?

This advice is coming from the website wherein I am also a member. I asked this for you..., Pls. see below reply...
"Since the adjustment of the status appears to be based on the marriage, a divorce would result to the denial of application. However, if the wife has been battered by the husband, then she may be eligible to file a VAWA-self petition. Consult with an experienced immigration attorney who can review the case, advised as to the options available and recommend how to proceed"
