change in status after a couple of years of being divorced

I got divorced a few years back. Due to the kids, I decided to keep them under my work visa as my dependents (includes my ex-wife).

I just heard that she is planning to get married again, thus planning to apply for a greencard shortly after for her and the kids. Since I have her and our kids as my dependent even though we are divorced would that affect their application for greencard (her fiance is a US born citizen). And how would this affect me?

Any help would be great.

You may not be able to apply for derivative green card for her since you are divorced. You need to check if her status within the US is legal. Consult an attorney.
