request for intial evidence i-485

Hi , please help regarding the petition I have filed for my mother. She is currently in usa and I have applied fro her i-130 along with i-485 for adjustment of status .She was born in pakistan before partion and no birth certificate is available , but i have an affidavit (only ) stating her date of birth but no letter saying "her birth record is not available" . Is that document acceptable as evidence of date of birth or what else can be satisfying document.

I think that if you have a legal document from her country's government that during the time of her birth, there was no registry. Have that document noterized or validated by the proper authorities in Pakistan. That should be valid.
If in doubt, Make an INFO PASS appointment in your state at the USCIS building. Ask them to make sure it is okay. You can also call the Service center phone number. The way you get through is by selecting that you have a disability where you will need special accomedation to your appointment/interview... that will get you through to a live person.
