I-485 notice of action. Expired visa and passport need to travel inside the us.

Hi, i have an expired passport and visa. also i-94. i applied for adjustment of status green card thru marriage. and i need to travel inside the us in flight. can i do it? what to do? what to bring? please help! thanks

do you have a drivers license. if you dont your expired passport should do.Take your receipt form I-796 you received when you file AOS with you as well.

To start with you don;t need a passport to travel within the USA. Just carry your I-797 receipt for the AOS in case you are asked for ID plus carry a drivers license if you have t but I doubt you have a US license as yet? You can travel within the US no problem you just can't leave the US.

Although passport is not required for domestic travel as such, you should get it renewed from your country's embassy asap. You should not be present in a foreign country with an expired passport.
