Need Help,GC became current

Hi,

My GC became current with the October bulletin,currently my wife is in India and using Advance parole.My first question is will it be a problem if i take the GC for me, few of my friends are saying it would be a risk if i take my GC and not my wife's GC.Can you please let me know your valuable suggestion on this.

The second question is i am planning to go to India in November and if the GC comes after i leave to india will it be a problem when coming back to USA.

First: GC does not become current, the priority date does.

If I were you, I would ask my wife to catch the next flight and come back to the U.S., take care of green card stamp, and then do what we would like to do after that.

Anything else is a risk that you should not be taking.
