DUI and status adjustment

I'm currently an international student in California. My grandpa filed an immigration application for my dad in August 2002. Legally, i can apply for status adjustment when my dad's case is approved. Unfortunately, I was arrested for DUI in July 2011 and it was my first time. Will the NVC deny me when I file the status adjustment? And what should I do now? Thanks for any help

May or may not, depends on the Immigration Office. Make sure you take a "certified court docket sheet" at the time of interview.You can get one from the court and the charge is $25.00. Also make sure you complete your AA meetings and DUI classes.
